A number of Northern Ireland athletes made the journey to Moorways stadium in Derby, England for the 2024 British Track and Field Championships (26th – 28th July).
Norman Mawhinney became 1500m (M65) British Champion for the first time winning in 5.21.32. He missed out on adding the 800m title by just 1/100th of a second. This time having to settle for silver.
Also winning silver were David Miller V40 (100m), Damian Crawford V55 (Shot Put) and Jim Harris V75 (400m).
David Clarke V60 won bronze in both the 1500m and 800m.
